Usbekistan - Kirgisistan : langs silkeveien 20.04-5.05 i 2009

Den 20. April flyr vi fra Norge gjennom Riga og da kan vi legge opp sightseeing for dem som ønsker det. Dette er ikke inkludert i prisen.

Day 1: April 21, 2009, Tuesday, Tashkent – arrival.
Arrival in Tashkent at 05:50. Transfer to the hotel to have a rest. In the second half of the day sightseeing Tashkent. Visit center of Tashkent, Amir Temur Square, Independence Square, Old City part of Tashkent with Khast-Imom Complex and Chor-Su bazaar, Applied Arts Museum. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: April 22, 2009, Wednesday, Tashkent-Samarkand
At 06:15 transfer to the Railway station to take the fast train “Registan” departing to Samarkand at 07:00. Arrival at Samarkand at 10:30. Transfer to the hotel. Guided sightseeing tour in Samarkand, sightseeing tour will include visit to the famous Registan Square, Shakhi-Zinda Complex, remains of Bibi-Khanum Mosque, Shakhi-Zinda necropolis and Gur-Emir mausoleum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: April 23, 2009, Thursday, Samarkand.
Continue sightseeing Samarkand. Visit to Ulugbek observatory, Afrosiyob Museum, Mausoleum of St. Daniil and central bazaar in Samarkand. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: April 24, 2009, Friday, Samarkand - Bukhara.
At 11:00 transfer to the Railway station to take the fast train “Sharq” departing to Bukhara at 11:45. Arrival at Bukhara at 14:45. Transfer to the hotel. Free time.

Day 5: April 25, 2009, Saturday, Bukhara
Full day guided sightseeing tour program in Bukhara. Visit Arc Fortress, Chashma Ayub, Samani dynasty mausoleum, Kalon Ensemble, medrese Miri-Arab, Magoki-Attori mosque, medrese Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan, trade domes, Lyabi Hauz Complex, medrese Chor-Minor. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: April 26, 2009, Sunday, Bukhara - Khiva
In the morning transfer to Khiva. During 7 hour drive stops to see Amudarya river and for lunch. Arrival to Khiva, check in to the hotel. Free time.
Day 7: April 27, 2009, Monday, Khiva
In the morning guided sightseeing of Khiva, spend a day in UNESCO World Heritage site Ichan-Qala fortress. In Ichan-Qala fortress visit Kunya-Arc, Sayeed Alauddin mausoleum, medrese Arab-Mukhamadkhan, mosque Oq-Masjid,medrese Hodjan Berdi-biya, Shirgazikhan, Abdullakhan, Juma mosque, medrese Allakulikhan, Toshkhovli palace, Pakhlavan Makhmud mausoleum, minaret Islom-khodja. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: April 28, 2009, Tuesday, Khiva – Nukus – Tashkent
In the morning depart Khiva and drive to Nukus. Arrival to Nukus. Sightseeing Nukus. Visit Art Museum with Russian and Uzbek art, State Museum. Free time. Evening flight to Tashkent. Arrival in Tashkent. Check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: April 29, 2009, Wednesday, Tashkent - Fergana
In the morning depar Tashkent and drive to Fergana. Arrival to Fergana, check in to the hotel. Drive to Kokand, sightseeing Kokand, visit Khudoyar-khan Palace, Djami Mosque, Kamol-Kazy Madrasa, Dahman-Shakhon and Madirakhan Necropolis. In the afternoon visit Rishtan and silk making factory in Margilan. In the evening return to Fergana, overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: April 30, 2009, Thursday, Fergana-Osh-BishkekIn the morning transfer to Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstab border point “Dostuk” . Border formalities. Transfer to Osh. Sightseeing Osh, town with 3000 years history. After lunch flight to Bishkek. Overnight in hotel.

Day 11: 01 May, 2009, Friday, Bishkek – Issyk-Kul
Early morning there will city tour in Bishkek. Sightseeing Bishkek includes visits of Oak Park, Central Square, Philharmonic. After lunch transfer to the lake Issyk Kul, the second largest alpine lake in the world. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel on the North Shore of Issyk-Kul Lake

Day 12: 02 May, 2009, Saturday, Issyk-Kul
Today is free to relax at the lake. After lunch you will be offered to drive to Cholpon Ata and visit open-air art gallery of stone, said to date from 500 BC – 100 AD, they depict wolves, long-horned ibex, goats, horses, snow leopards, sacrifices and some hunting scenes. Dinner and overnight at a hotel.

Day 13: 03 May, 2009, Sunday, Issyk-Kul –Bishkek
In the morning transfer to Bishkek. En route visit Burana tower, which marks the original site of the Karakhanid town, Balasagun. Lunch on the way. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 14: 04 May, 2009, Monday, Bishkek – Tashkent
Transfer to the airport ( 30 km ), departure to Tashkent. Arrival in Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel. Free time.

Day 15: 05 May, 2009, Tuesday, Tashkent-departure
Transfer to the airport. Departure. End of the tour.
